PGWP expiring in 11 months...what can I do?

My post graduate work permit is expiring on 2019 Jan 05, but I still don't have any job offers or employment.
I am looking really hard to get one and I believe I can very near future.

However, I am pretty sure that in order to apply for Express Entry you should have at least 1 year of work experience in Canada right? (correct me if I am wrong) I will not be able to get that since the most I can get is 10.5 months of work experience when my PGWP expires.

Is there a way to apply for EE without having any actual work experience? like by just having a job offer? or perhaps there is a way I can utilize the "implied status" in order to gain that extra month of experience?
I really would like to know what I can do here.

By the way, the CRS tool tells me that I will have around 423 points if I aced every language tests and get a solid job offer. It's pretty close to an invitation but I think I need that 1 year experience.

Assuming you do not have any skilled foreign work experience then you cannot even have a valid profile unless you complete a year of full-time skilled work experience.

Since you are on a PGWP the only way for you to obtain a valid offer is if your employer decides to spend the time and resources in order to get LMIA. If you believe that just by working on a PGWP you'd have a valid job offer then you are mistaken.

Wait a second, you said you have 11 months left on your PGWP. I was under the impression that PGWPs were issued for a minimum period of 2 years, which is plenty of time already to get that 1 year experience.

1. No, PGWPs are issued based on the length of the courses from a minimum of 8 months.

No. If you apply for an extension when you don't actually qualify for one, your app will likely be rejected as incomplete, which would mean you would have been working illegally from the time your PGWP expired.

You are LMIA-exempt while working on a PGWP. That does NOT extend beyond your PGWP expiry.

I dont see EE as an option based on your situation. Look for Pnps. (Atlantic provinces). You still have some time, if you kept delaying like you have been, you will be in no luck.

Most of the provinces wants you to work for atleast 6 months before you can apply.

If you have no idea how it works, I suggest you go do some research.

If your employer obtains a positive LMIA, you can apply for a closed work permit.
