Has her visitor visa already expired? If it has and your OWP has been returned then she is out of status completely, and will need to apply for restoration of status before she can resubmit her OWP app... I hope that's not the case and that she's still in status for a bit longer!!

No her visitor visa hasn’t expired yet (expires mid-April), OWP have been resent to Vegreville and Mississauga. It would be as implied status by April eh.

This is exactly what I did, I went to the Philippines Embassy and they did that as well (messy ink etc for the fingerprint) but when I sent it to Philippines to get the NBI Clearance they told me that it is the "blue form" now and not the green one. (New system).. And no matter what I do, they don't give the green form anymore.

When did you get yours?

We did it around early November 2017.

I have a question that my spouse has valid ETA and it will expire in 2020 . She got that ETA when she came in Canada as a Visitor but now she got OWP as per my understanding she will get new ETA in accordance with her OWP but my spouse did not get any email of ETA from IRCC and when my spouse reached out with IRCC ,it was informed that my spouse has valid ETA. I just wanted to make sure when my spouse returns back , will not get any trouble just because of ETA so my spouse will not receive new ETA as per OWP as status is being changed to worker? and could use valid old ETA? can someone please confirm me ? I will appreciate for confirmation.

Upon getting a confirmation email about my OWP I got a separate email that a new ETA was linked to my passport. My eta was still valid at the time fot 2+ years. If her old eta is valid till 2020 she won't get any trouble. If by any chance she got a new ETA linked to her passport it would be even better. Remember that having valid eta/owp doesn't give you 100% chance that she will go through customs without any issue. It depends on the officer to grant her an entry to Canada. It's just an fyi cuz a lot of people think that owp grants u an instant entry just like permament residence card. I think she can check what eta number is linked to her passport by going to cic website and fillip up her form with her passport number. If her eta number is different from before she got a new one upon receving owp. Or you can do it backwards look up your old eta number and see if it's still valid and linked to her passport.

Also eta is linked to your passport so they don't really ask for an eta number. It's always good to have it with you though. The number shows up for officers once they scan your passport.

Hi everyone ,
I have just read cic made changes that Scd a and pcc should be submitted along with the file from March 2018.
I have question that I am November 2017 applicant my representative have not sent pcc as he said we will send when cic will ask. He only submitted scd a last week. So shall I keep waiting for cic correspondence or just submit pcc right away.

Q1: My spouse has to return back to Canada She has valid ETA and her OWP is approved when she was away so should need just one way ticket from her country to Canada as OWP is approved or she needs two way (Return) ticket as well (from her country to canada and then from Canada to her country) again as she came in Canada last time as a Visitor . Needed to confirm this time does she need return ticket or just one way ticket to canada is fine as OWP is approved.

Q2- If she informs at border about approval of Work Permit ? Can they give OWP at border? further what does it mean of OWP expiry can she stay canada by OWP expiry?

further she got that ETA when she came in Canada as a Visitor after approval of ETA did not get any separate email for new email for ETA as a worker.

Hey folks, hope someone can help me out with a question!

My wife (Sponsor) and I (PA) sent our application for PR and OWP for In-Land Spousal Sponsorshop Dec 1st 2017 – all containing information with her old last name. We've received our AOR – but my wife needs to get a new passport with her new name, as her old one is expiring.
Do we need to contact immigration and inform them about the change? All of the information and passport information we've given them in our PR application is with her old name.

in my case, i am the PA and i got a new passport with my canadian husband's last name after submitting the PR application. i asked CIC what i should do by WEB form after receiving AOR and they just told me to scan the new passport, upload by web form again and maybe a month later, my online account name has changed to my new name. if your wife (sponsor) has her own account as well, the name should be updated there after she sends her new passport information to CIC. good luck!
