Recently, I got a job offer. However, I really want to ask if the employer would like to give me support on PR application.
But, I don't know what kind of documents the employer should provide to me when I apply for PR
And I am also not sure if the employer would be annoyed by my words.
Last but not least, even if they said "probably" "depend on", I still couldn't ensure the future.

Thanks for your advice and help in advance.

What immigration stream are you applying through? Does the employer have a LIMA if you aren't already a PR or have a work permit?

Because I had working experience in my home country, so I go Federal Skilled Worker stream. I had 3 years work permit after I graduate from university in CA in 2017. Now, only two years left.

So, as an employer myself, I would be happy to supply a supporting letter for an employee, or if you were good at your job, confirm that I intended to keep them on in your position, but I wouldn't want to offer a "sponsor" letter. To many legal implications that could be construed from that. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for the first two. Just be careful how you word the request.

Thanks very much for your reply and advice. I was thinking if it is appropriate to tell the employer I want to apply for PR and immigrate to Canada when I reply the job offer, because I am not sure if this would make the employer think I want to work for them just because of I need their letter of employment or other kinds of support.

In some ways employers want you to have PR since they don't need to worry about your immigration status every few years.

I had a job interview once and was told they are hiring because a foreigner runs out of work permit and forced to leave. Many employers actually auto-rejects people on work permit as they don't sponsor foreign workers
