My wife is the same situation in Pakistan right now.

Did you try to contact/ go in person to Islamabad embassy (since we are citizens should be able to visit our country's embassy consulate) and find out why our interviews are not getting scheduled. I also have a son (who go his citizenship) and am now thinking of quitting my job and return to Pakistan (or at least for the time when my wife gets the PR). I saw the CIC minister Mr. Hussain making speech online today saying all the changes he has made, but we dont see any on our end, I am thinking of writing him an official letter signed by MP.

Who else is waiting more than 12 months want to include into this letter ?

well .. not more than 12 months .. but if you take a look at the spreadsheet, all 2nd marriage cases are being held up .. if you want to include my name in the letter, feel free to get in touch with me .. cuz this is absolutely unfair kay aik banday kay waisay hi 2nd marriage horahi hai .. aur uper say yeh zulm ??

yes unfortunately you will have to use the new one, if you send old form, they may reject the app

they won't reject it but rather send it back .. it's better to send updated forms now, rather than wait for 2 months later to find out that your app was sent back and you have to resubmit sub kuch and wait for another few months again ..

they also want schA and police certificate with the application now .. so make sure you have this as well .. that was announced yesterday ..

@paki786 .. there is no harm in sending these now even thou you have a grace period .. they will then just ask you to complete your medical .. or any other additional documents (like .. more pictures, etc).

Aug 3rd and Aug 17th applicants got DM. One Nikah only case of June 30th got DM.
what is wrong with 2nd Marriages? 2nd or 3rd Marriages are not happening in Canada OR anywhere else in the world? why 2nd marriages have red flags?

hi,
my immigration officer asked me for my UK police certificate because i have lived there during my Masters program. i obtained my UK police certificate but while uploading it on GC Key its confusing because it asks for country of issue and while going for UK as an option it comes with multiple ones.e.g UK brit overseas citizen, UK protected Person, UK Brit citizen.
if anybody has a similar encounter with it before can i have some guidance please?

ur delaying ur application alot. Every single day CMP-M receiving 1000s of applications means you are going way behind in application received queues.

it is normal in every culture and religion. what i have read and heard now adays of Ratio of Divorce / Khula in pakistan at his peak.
What is wrong if someone got divorce and remarry to settle his/her life again? what is wrong with it that 2nd marriage is definite a interview case with a delay of 18 months or more?

Was able to link my application to gckey today after 6 months.
Additional docs states: we need more docs to continue processing your app.we will send you a message with details.

It got linked today so dont know what was it before.med passed and rest is in progress.
Its been 2 months since it was transferred to LVO.
No email/message for add. Docs.
Is it just a glitch or I need to do something?

Help me guys.. received my notes today .. everything I provided is updated but reason for interview is unclear anyways my question is that I posted screenshot of my notes on facebook page .. its says provided divorce registration certificate, date of deed 18/03/2013 date of failure of reconciliation November 3 2015 , date divorce effective November 3 2015. Issue date 20 nov 2017 also provided confirmation certificate of divorce from the chairman arbitration union council dated November 3 2015
I got married on 9th September 2016

So i had no idea that we have to obtain divorce certificate from nadra as well until they requested me on in November and the members here told me to get one , I thought certificate of confirmation of divorce from union council is sufficient.. although in the notes they have not raised concern over it but somebody on the facebook page pointed this and now im worried.. will they create a problem over it in the interview?
