We heard nothing new...
He called for a Pakistani couple..the guy was raised in Canada and married a girl from Pakistan..it took a total of 9 month for them to get their process done... and they looked so elated to have said this like 9 months passed on like 9 hours....
Seriously I was waiting for some big news but unfortunately heard the same thing that I’ve been hearing all this while waiting...

how stupid is this! It was already like this before.. so pretty much going back to previous ways because this year they got severely slow asking for PCCs and SA. Ridiculous. I swear those who were part of the old ways must see some updates. It is frustrating because there is seriously NOTHING we can do!

The CIC should actually work on all applicantions on their own and should ask the applicants to send their passports to their local visa office for visa stamping only...
At least this rule should apply for the NDVO...they shouldn’t be given the liberty to work on applications for a 12 months period....they’re taking this time period for granted and not doing anything with our files...

Just looking at the Consolidated forum, even the April applicants got DM within 250-270 days (average). Most of us have gone past it (I am at 266 days). What in the hell is happening about us May applicants

that too, they get to deal with applications from 3 other countries- they should just be dealing with Indian applicants/ or CIC should just send the applications to NDVO if the applicants are queued for interview so that they can do it there. Why are all the other straight forward applications suffering in this. Also, how does it make sense that those who are being interviewed are being processed faster than the ones who are not queued for interview. Nothing makes sense logically. Why are they doing this to us

This is my first time posting, I just wanted to verify something. So I am already a PR living in Canada, and I have sponsored my wife who is from India, however, has been living and working in the United States of America for the past 7 years. So today I basically got a letter from CIC saying that her application has been forwarded over to the New Delhi (India) office for further processing. I just find this strange, I thought they would process her application in the USA, not India, as that is where she has been living for the past 7 years. Unless I just don't fully understand the process. Would any of you know how it works? Also, where would the process request come from?
Appreciate all the advice!

How and why are they expected to work on applications from three countries?
Can’t the CIC see how slow they are???

that's strange if the visa in the country that the applicant is residing in is valid for more than a year, it should have technically been sent to the US processing center. Honestly, don't know how they work, as my friend had a similar case and their application was sent to process to NDVO too. It looks like they just pick and choose based on ethnicity. Sorry.
hmmm, yeah that's what I thought originally as well. So lets say the passport request comes in, where would the passport have to be sent? If it's India, that's messed up, to send it from USA to India, and then India to USA.
