Landing related queries

hi guys..
I have few queries on Landing which are as follows:

1) My PR visa expires on 18th April 2018,and I have planned my landing in such a way that I would reach Toronto on 17th april (morning),My question is that if I reach on 18th April(the date of expiry) because of flight delays etc. would there be any problem?

2) As my PR visa expires on 18th april 2018,Can I stay there after visa expiry? (I have planned to return on 19th april after initial landing procedures)

3) My port of entry is Toronto,my plan is to return in two days following landing procedures and have decided to give my friend's address for PR card delivery who stays in Edmonton,Alberta; would there be any problem if POE & PR card delivery address are two different provinces?

4) Do I have to inform immigration/visa officer at Toronto airport about my short stay(2 days) and about the address for PR card delivery that it's my friend's address and he will receive PR cards on my behalf.

1) Perhaps, you should just contact CBSA by phone or email whether cutting so close is feasible, rather than repeating your postings

No issues there. As long as you 'meet' a CBSA officer by 2359 hrs of Apr 18th - you're good.

Yes, you can.

Giving an address without living in Canada - and getting the PR cards mailed abroad is illegal.

If you intimate that - your PR cards will not be issued.

why did you ask for PR???,,, you should have asked for Visitor,,, less stressful,,,

first of all thanks a lot for reverting back and for very useful info..
can u elaborate lil more on how to tackle in above circumstances..the delivery address issue.

Just tell the IO that this is your address, the place where you'll be residing hereon until you've settled down, acquired a job etc. Do not mention that you'd be returning soon.

i came across one post in some other forum "https://discuss.settlement.org/topic36829-pr-card--what-can-i-use-as-an-address-in-canada.aspx "
it says " I read on CIC's website that for new PRs "it may be appropriate for clients to provide the address of a third party (friend, relative, service provider or a paid representative)"."
i could not find anywhere on CIC website the same,whats ur take on this??
