i applied january 8. i was supposed to travel from February 1 to 28

i got my passport request for visa stamping on February 8.

you just need to wait. they dont look on the travel dates you proposed. they look on your family ties and funds.

But i have my brother wedding on feb 18 . That was only reason for me to travel

well sometimes they just dont care about it. I was supposed to attend my nieces debut but my visa came late.

Please help me to interpret this, I applied for TRV by paper form in Lagos Nigeria on 3rd January, I now linked my application online, I just got a mail from VFS office that my passport is ready, when I checked my online application, Ii got the below, eligibility was not granted. But noting was writen in the final decision, does it mean, Ii was denied visa?

My husband applied TRV within Canada, applied online on Feb06, got approved and request passport on Feb08! That was quick

Jan 31 afternoon - lodged application
Feb 9 - Passport request (it was Friday past 4pm so I couldn't bring my passport asap)
Feb 12 - brought passport to CVAC, first thing in the morning just as they opened, requested 'urgent' on processing which they wrote on top of my passport packet
Feb 13 - got call my passport is ready for pickup and collected by 3pm-ish

Try Google, you will find formats there which are pretty easy to handle. Its not that complicated.
