Hi All,

I am new in Canada on dependent visa. I am from non technical background but doing a job as service desk analyst which comes under NOC 2282 till I get a job in my field.

Will this work experience help me in CEC ?

It is considered skilled employment (Skill level B), you can see on the matrix here:

So assuming you meet all the other requirements, yes, one year of full-time employment in this job would make you eligible under the CEC class.
