Hi there
I applied SOWP on 27th January 2018 online and on 28th,January 2018 i got an application number. Unfortunately, my husband got refusal first for SWOP in September 2016 and Second time as a visitor on 2 January 2017, that time i was a student. Currently i have an PG open work permit and have NOC-B job in same field of study. Waiting for response from CIC.
What is the reason behind your sowp refusal. And for visitor also

Hi there,
I have open work permit in Canada. My MPNP is approved. My PR file is in process, got married in March, 2017 updated CIC with all spouse documents, added my husband's name to the file in March, 2017

My husband applied online for open work permit on 16 August, 2017 and received medical request on 16 October, 2017. Medical was done on 18th October, 2017 and was uploaded as successful on his online account. Since then we didn't received any response and there is no update on his CIC account. As the processing time lapsed,he sent multiple enquiries via IRCC web form and emails to Delhi High Commission but never received any response or any information.

I personally contacted my local MP office and enquired about the application status and came to know passport request was made on 7 Nov, 2017. However we never received any email and there is no update on my husband's CIC account. We tried to contact CIC, Delhi High Commision mutilple times but no one is able to provide any information and is unable to guide us what should we do. We requested MP office again to look into the matter and they said they will work on it and let us know.

Any information or experience will be highly appreciated. Please let me know if anybody has information related to this situation. We would really appreciate your help.
Hi there, would you mind if i will ask you about your job category 0, A OR B? i will really appreciate that because i am in same situation. I will wait for your reply. Thank you.

Hi
I’m an Indian citizen living in Canada on a post graduation work permit. I’m a permanent employee with a job in NOC A category (Hydrogeologist). I’m going to India in April this year to get married.
Can my wife get a work permit or a tourist visa after we get married? She will be applying from India.
Additionally, I have applied for BC PNP which I’m expecting to get it approved in February.

Thanks!

Yes. You can apply for visitor permit and when she will be in Canada, go for SOWP. It will save time.
