police certificate request without spending 183 days outside canada in the last 6 years ????

hey guys i was in Qatar for 8 months working,2015 - 2016 though i had PR status of canada. before leaving the country for good in 2016 i took police clearance letter from Qatar before i left the country... I am applying now for citizenship.. can the I submit the same POLICE CLEARANCE LETTER which i took before i left the country..i didnt went out of Canada since then...kindly advise.

If the date on the police certificate is after the last day you were in Qatar you might be fine. However I doubt that's the case because if I understand you right you picked up that PCC before you left Qatar.

thats complicated.. its nearly impossible to get certificates when u leave those countries. i got the certificate 1 week before i left the country... what other option do i have ? should I wait ?? if i wait ...how long is the wait?

If you live outside of Qatar: (but have lived in Qatar for more than 6 months)
You can:

1. Return to Qatar and apply in person OR ask a representative (a friend, relative or colleague) in Qatar, with a power of attorney, to apply on your behalf at the Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID) and follow the instructions above.
2. Visit your nearest Qatari Embassy or consulate
3. By express mail

You or your representative must bring/send:

• A letter explaining the purpose for which the certificate is required
• Original fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Qatari Embassy in the country where you are currently residing.
• A copy of the passport that you used in Qatar
• A copy of your old or expired residence visa in Qatar and ID card
• A copy of your current passport
• Three photographs (4x6 cm)
• Applicable fees

I am living in Canada continuously on PR Status since 2016 June...how long do I need to stay more so I don't need to submit a PCC for qatar ..PLZ ADVICE

They require PCCs if in the 4 years immediately preceding your application you lived or travelled to another country for 183 days or more (cumulative, need not be consecutive). So, if after becoming a PR you didn't visit Qatar, and do not visit in the next 2.5 years, then you can probably apply early to mid 2020.

Whenever you plan on signing the application, just check 4 years in the past from that date to see if you were in any country for 183 days or more.

You gave the list yourself. You can apply for a Qatari PCC at the embassy of Qatar

You don't have to travel to Ottawa. It says:
Documents can be submitted in person (10am-12pm, Mon- Fri) or sent to the following address via pre-paid mail service...

it takes 6 months or more to get it ?...thats insane.... should i submit the one which I already have with me...The issue date is just 1 week before I left the country...
