some did receive it by regular mail. Majority by email though.Hey all, I would like to know if anyone actually received the test invitation by printed postal email or has everyone received the invitation by e-mail so far?

Thanks for sharing. Added a note on the sheet. I don't think the FP letter mentions the local office. I could be wrong though.Hello Everyone,
Status updated yesterday on Ecas. Hopefully FP request. I knew there were going to ask this as they did during PR.
Does the FP letter tells you about your local office? I know letter would come from Vancouver, but would it say my local office on the letter? It would be either Surrey or Vancouver.
- We sent you correspondence on February 8, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
Also is attending wedding function a valid excuse to reschedule the test(with the proof of wedding card)? Anyone did this? I would be away in the second last week of March and I think I will get test invite during that week.
thanks
Okay then, thank yousome did receive it by regular mail. Majority by email though.

Personally, I would move my own wedding if my test date were to conflict with it. Who knows when IRCC would get around to re-scheduling it. Some people on this forum mentioned they had to withdraw their applications and apply again, because IRCC never got around to it.
Just curious, Do you think attending a wedding ( the groom is a best friend who lives abroad ) is acceptable reason for urgent processing request? Note that the applicant here in Canada and can't renew his passport for a valid reasonThanks for sharing. Added a note on the sheet. I don't think the FP letter mentions the local office. I don't think it is an acceptable reason for urgent processing. It has to be a matter of life or death, quite literally.Just curious, Do you think attending a wedding ( the groom is a best friend who lives abroad ) is acceptable reason for urgent processing request? Well, @migrant-seeker on the very next message contacted IRCC by phone and got the confirmation.Hi
Anyone knows how to know if finger prints were sent back in file by the agency after doing it .. the agency I did it with printed out an email address to send after 2 weeks but they saif the finger prints are finished after 72 hours of doing it .. they sent it back to the same office written in the letter ..
how can I know it has arrived ? Since there is a note if the finger prints take more than a month the processing stops ..
Did anyone have the experience of contacting them after fingerprints to make sure it arrived and the processing of the file resumed ?!
Thanks
Nothing is wrong. Your background check is likely still in progress and is taking longer. Everyone's case is different. My wife and I Did our test and interview on 8th Feb and we both passed. We also had our interview and we were prepared with all the documents which the officer asked to check. I was asked to do finger print at the same time of receiving the test invite and I did it three weeks ago and when I checked with RCMP they confirmed that the results were sent to IRCC in the following day of doing my finger prints. I also checked with IRCC on the phone 10 days before the test and they confirmed that the finger print was received.
Surprisingly I checked today eCas so my wife status is decision made and mine is still in process?!
Does it mean there is something wrong around my application? Very frustrating and very depressing
Do not worry every case is different even if she was your wife you can check with other people who took more time for Decision made .. there is no reason for it but some take longer than others for no reason .. its few days and you ll see DM that is normal ..My wife and I Did our test and interview on 8th Feb and we both passed.
