I currently in the express entry pool with 415 point which is way to low to be invited. In order to pick up on our point we are trying to get a vailed job offer.

We have all these jobs offers but none are selling to do a LMIA .

Can’t we pay for it ourself? Or something ?

Also if not isn’t there a website that has jobs with only LMIA?

No - you cannot get an LMIA yourself. Only an employer can apply for an LMIA.

There is no website that only has jobs with LMIA. You will need to apply for jobs through regular job sites like indeed and try to find an employer who is willing to go through the LMIA process.

Generally speaking, it's next to impossible to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process. If you want to increase your score, you should do this in different ways - like improving your IELTS score.

In that case I would recommend you look into the provincial nominee programs.

Hi @scylla I stand a similar case, need some advise. I currently have 403 and soon losing 10 points this month as I will be turning 41. I have vast exp in 2174 currently in US (on h1b). I was hoping for Ontario nomination but it seems to slip away now. Also, I realized LMIAs are impossible (for my NOC atleast). Now, I'm looking at following option.
My wife will join a college for one year diploma in Vancouver, I apply for Open Work permit, I get a job in Vancouver and apply for EEBC — SKILLED WORKER. Which will give me a nomination in 2 months and will get additional 600 points , next draw will have ITA. Do you think this is a viable option or am I missing something here?
My wife is actually more interested in this because, she currently has only high school diploma (GED) and looking forward for education.
I thought of Toronto as well, but i don't see any colleges there that offer diplomas for Mature students.

It's viable - but there are a few things to consider.

If your wife comes to Canada on a study permit, you will qualify to apply for an OWP but there is no guarantee that OWP will be approved.

Secondly, for your wife to be approved for the study permit in Canada, the studies she plans to take in Canada must make sense in light of her previous education and work experience. We see a lot of refusals on this forum by CIC where the studies that someone is planning to take in Canada don't seem logical and CIC suspect the primary reason for coming to Canada is to immigrate.

I'm not sure what you mean by diplomas for mature students. Your wife would simply apply for a regular college diploma program.

Thank you, I get what you are saying. What circumstances do you think OWP wouldn't be approved?

Recommend you spend some time reading through refusal threads in the International Students and Foreign Workers section of the forum for examples of profiles and refusal reasons.
