I applied on November 15 and still waiting for security check to be done don't even know why they are doing that.... my bad luck. As usual seeing everyone get a visa who applied way after me

Sorry for the refusal. Did you apply online or paper based? Because, if you apply online, they request us to send passport because, they have already approved. What happened in your case?

So in your case, they asked your passport and returned with refusal?

I applied online from India with a representative on November 15. I was refused visit visa back in August for unjust reasons. I re applied and didn't really add many documents my representative just changed the application method a bit and also I applied on my own basis this time first time someone sent an invitation letter to support my application to attend a wedding. Invitation letter with my full time Job offer, bank statement, T4(if possible) and from my parents side: pension letter, few bonds and bank statement that everymonth pension goes there and travel tickets.

i apply visitor visa on 12 dec from riyadh vfs center & till now my case is same as it was from the day one. when i request or ircc to recheck my case after 2 days they reply me as below for additional document required


Dear Applicant,
After an initial review of your file, we have determined that the following additional documents/information are required in order for us to continue processing your application. Kindly provide us with:
• A copy of your passports
Please provide the above documents/ information on or before February 05, 2018.Failure to provide these documents by the requested date may result in the refusal of your application. Feel free to send these documents as an attachment via IRCC Web form.
Please include the following with your reply:
1. File number
2. Full name as mentioned on your passport:
3. Date of birth:
4. Passport number

No, they have not asked specifically for your old/expired passports. Yes, your US visa (if you have traveled on it) would certainly help for a positive decision.

Do check with VFS Riyadh whether they had forwarded your passport with the application in December. Did you scan your US visa and include it in your application?

You're pretty close to getting a TRV. We are seeing this kind of requests for passports to be submitted within 3-5 days for Pakistan applicants/Abu Dhabi visa office recently.... which has resulted in TRV approvals

Unfortunately, it is a standard response. It does not mean that security checks are completed.

Your file does not physically travel to any other visa office.... that's to say, it has not physically returned to the New Delhi office. All processes are digital.

You should wait for the background checks update to change
