nopes.. I paid RPRF upfront too.. Dec 13 AOR and in NA2 since Jan 2

Was your first ITA declined by yourself or it was rejected by CIC

You can request to know your visa office. Although it doesn't work for everybody but I did that last Friday and got movement this week

I am not sure about work permit but I expect that to be processed faster than PR as long as your documents are complete
