Offer of employment and Working Holiday visa

Hello,
I'm one of the lucky ones who received an ITA recently.
I've been in Canada for more than a year now under a working holiday visa. My employer hired me one year ago without LMIA (LMIA exempt because of international agreement).
I have to upload an offer of employment and a letter of employment. I have the letter of employment but am wondering what to upload as offer of employment. Should I upload the one that I received prior to working for my current company (which was one year ago)? Or ask them to write a new one saying that they're offering me this position blabla for at least one year after I get my PR?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Elsa

Did you claim points for arranged employment?

I honestly don't know exactly what you're asking. Here is what I was asked and how I answered:

Intended work in Canada
-Does Jane have a job offer in Canada? YES

-Is this job offer for work that is:
  • full-time
  • continuous and
  • for at least one year? YES
- Is this job offer for work that is non-seasonal? YES
- How many employers made this job offer? 1
- Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the job offer in Canada? NO
- Is Jane currently working in Canada? YES
- Has Jane been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part time work?) YES
- Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the current work permit? NO , My work permit is exempt from a LMIA due to an international agreement.

If I say "No" to the very first question (Does Jane have a job offer in Canada), I'm not asked if I'm already working in Canada and if I've been working for at least 1 year etc.
The letter of employment and the offer of employment also disappear from the checklist.

I am asking if you claimed the 50 points given for a valid job offer. Please check your ITA letter if you do not know what I am talking about.

It's an open work permit. It's valid until next September.
Oh dear...

You are not entitled to the 50 points that you claimed. You answered incorrectly the questions in the intended work section. If without those 50 points you fall below the cutoff score then you must decline your invitation.

Oh that sucks...I have 494 points...-50 points, it makes 444 points. The cut was 442!
Shall I give them an explanation in the "explanation section"? I'm about to cry...
This is extremely confusing to me...I read the questions so many times, and still I made a huge mistake.

This is what you will do:

1 - Answer "no" to the very first question of the intended work section. Placeholders for "offer of employment" and "letter of employment" will disappear.
2 - Write a LOE stating that you made a mistake but that after making the correction you are still above the cutoff score of the draw for which you were invited and that your eligibility under whichever program you are applying remains unaffected. Explain that even though you have a LMIA exempt work permit it is NOT employer specific (closed work permit) so you were not entitled for the 50 points for arranged employment.

Thank you for explaining what to do. As the letter of employment will disappear, should I upload it somewhere else?

No. It is not needed. You only need a reference letter which follows IRCC's requirements.

Got it. I will upload it with all the other "work experience" reference letters. Thank you for your help. I hope it won't become a huge mess.
