Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello all,

I've got a quick question that I can't see an answer for online.

I'm in the Express Entry Pool, and know it'll take up to 6 months to process my application. In the meantime I'm keeping an eye on the CRS scores for the latest round of ITAs, however am not sure if I do receive an ITA whether it will be only after the 6-month 'processing' period or at any time when the CRS score is low enough to include me. I'm only a point away at the moment, so don't want to get excited if I have to wait 6-months and gauge the scores then.

Does this make sense??
At any time as long as your CRS is above the cutoff score. So if you're at 441 and next draw the cutoff score is 440 you'll receive an ITA.

Hi All,

Can someone from India help me with WES query.

Apparently, they are not issuing Canadian masters equivalent to PGPM courses in India for ECA. I have a PGPM from IBS, BENGALURU and an MBA from ICFAI University, DEHRADUN.

Has anyone from ICFAI DEHRADUN or IBS received masters equivalent? ICFAI DEHRADUN is UGC recognized for MBA degree.

My current CRS point is 380. But now i have got work permit in Canada and started working in Toronto from last 2 months. Also my wife has joined work in one of the financial organization in Canada as a Full Time Employee for last 1 month. Now can we get additional CRS points for our respective jobs?

Hi guys

I have one question. I added my spouse work experience(who is dependent under express entry profile and is at backhome). I got ITA and there is a column to upload spouse work experience. His employer gave him employment letter n salary certificate.

My question is that in his job letter monthly salary Is mentioned not gross, rest everything is mentioned. Will it b fine or is to important to mention annual salary instead of monthly.

Thanks in advance

Hello Everyone,
Couple of questions on POF:

1)Suppose i receive ITA in April 2018 and I submit my Application in May 2018..i will have more than required funds in my account ( say i need 24 K CAD) but the average 6 months balance is around 18K-20KCAD..
2) around 10 K CAD was transferred by my brother in Dec 2017,do i need to provide gift deed for 4 months old transaction(at the time of application submission)?
3) Is it good idea to Fix deposit (for 6 months) the 24K CAD one month before I receive ITA? Do i need to submit bank letter or 6 months account statement along with FD certificate ?

Any other suggestions....

Best Regards.

So I had challenges figuring out how to send scanned copies of my degree certificates to WES during credential evaluation for my Express Entry application. I later found a site, so I thought to put this here if there's anyone with a similar challenge. https://uploadtopost.ca/

My wife had MBA from ICFAI Kolkatta, she also got another Masters from US. WES evaluated her credentials equivalent to double Masters. What's your Canadian equivalency according to WES? How is it affecting your CRS score? so long as your CRS is above 450 you should be in good shape.

Much of the application is about timing. Why not wait few months until your 6 months avg balance reaches the level you want it to be (24k)? [Plan your EE submission to time your ITA accordingly]
CIC doesn't care about FD or not. So long as you have 6 months average balance as indicated by your bank letter. Gift deed etc are nice to have, but if your bank can provide you with a letter that mentions last 6 months average balance it should suffice.

The whole point is that you got funds to support yourself and your dependents, and that you didn't borrow money just to show that you have funds.

Hey Experts!
I have a bit of doubt, I'd appreciate if someone could clear it up for me.

I have been working in start-up company as a web developer. The problem is the number of employees are just 5-6 including me. Would I face any problem because of such a small size/number of employees of/in the company ?
Thank you.
No.

If you are in the Express Entry Pool and have not received an ITA - thus have not submitted your actual PR application, then there is no processing that would take 6 months. When you are in EE pool you get a CRS score. At every draw there is a cut-off, people having CRS score equal or grater than the cut-off are sent ITA.
So let's say your current CRS is at 439 and last two draws have been 440 then your EE profile is simply waiting, there is no processing going on it. let's say that on the next draw the cut-off goes down to 430, then you'll receive your ITA and have 90 days to submit your application.
Your "processing" will commence after you have submitted your PR application. Even though CIC mentions that average time of processing is 6 months for me and many others it took 1 month (28 days) from e-APR to PPR.

My WES is in process and is due for completion next week. Problem is IBS institutes provide only PGPM certificates that are not affiliated to any university. The good part (hope so) is I and my wife also choose to do an MBA (distance) during the same time from ICFAI, DEHRADUN which is UGC recognized. So we both have PGPM from IBS, Bengaluru and MBA degree from ICFAI, DEHRADUN. I know that they won't consider the PGPM equivalent to Masters, however, from reading all other posts, hope they evaluate MBA at least to Canadian Masters for which me and my wife will get full points for Masters, thereby boosting the crs to 460.

No point worrying about it now. Let the WES evaluation come, then decide depending on your CRS score.

Hello, I received NOI from Ontario today, can someone please explain?
Should I accept it?
I think it's better to wait and see the draws since I have 45 days.
It depends on how many CRS points you have?
I didn't have enough CRS points for what the draws are at the moment, so I applied with my invite to Ontario and got my 600 points and received ITA just recently. It takes a bit longer but if you start collecting all your information for Ontario then it will help even if you get an ITA, as they require a lot of the same information. Hope that helps :)

Hello,
I have Indian PCC dated of 08/12/2017. My current CRS is 993 (after oinp) and expecting to get ITA on 22nd Feb. Should I apply with that PCC or get new one? I read somewhere that Indian PCC is valid for 6 month if you stay in the same country. Need suggestions
