You don't have to do anything. You can sign up for numerous pre-arrival services offered by IRCC through various organizations and agencies. Read through the list of services offered, then send an e-mail to the ones you are interested explaining that you would like to register for their pre-arrival services.

Oh really? Hahaha thanks soo much

Good day everyone, I need a lil help plz.... My husband received a pre arrival letter today. In the letter, "

When you register for pre-arrival services with one of the service providers listed on the
website, you will be asked to provide a copy of this letter. You can contact as many
service providers as you like and receive as many services as you need, and these services
are always at no cost to you.

Wen we click on the link nothing opens, what do we do plz? We need help to understand the whole letter better plz. Thanks
Not sure what's wrong with the link, but here is the list of IRCC-approved pre-arrival services that you can sign up for:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-services.asp

And like the letter said, you can sign up for as many as you want. The more information, the better, so that you arrive ready and well prepared. If you are moving to Manitoba by any chance, I would be glad to help :)

Which country are you applying from? And which VO are your files with?

I am the spornsor and I applied for my husband who resides in Africa. I leave in Canada and he was refused on 22 November 2016 so I applied in December 2016. We had our adr on 23 November and won and our file was send to ottawa for processing after the appeal was allowed. Good thing it didn't go back to Africa VO.

They said our marriage wasn't genuine and that my husband only married me just to gain access to Canada.

I can't answer that, some people get it after a week and some have waited even 3 months. It looks like the median is 1 month. To which province are you immigrating? Which is your VO?

Oh boy. I'm really sorry to hear that. Well, I'll share with you our story in summary. The immigration can be extremely strict with this one. I married my wife from overseas and what we did was provided photos of different places we went to (you are permitted to submit a maximum of 20 photos), pictures of our wedding with both sides of our families, provided our facebook chat history together that went back to the first time we started to communicate (you're permitted to submit only a maximum of 10 pages and we provided 2 1/2 years of communication, summarized). You can provide letters to each other or greeting cards as well, just something to prove to the visa officer how you genuinely connected. My wife wrote on a separate cover letter explaining that our communications through facebook messenger exceeded over 10,000 pages plus facetime conversations to save on the long distance charges calling and an offer if they would like to have the full transcript we would be glad to provide it. I also provided photocopies of my entry/exit passport stamps, used airline boarding passes, and all original marriage documentation from vital statistics. It cost a lot more money to pay for getting the original documents but that's the best way to present them. On the relationship form for the principal applicant, my wife wrote in chapter and verse full details like a small book of how our relationship was established, explained to them who had public knowledge of our relationship such as our parents and facebook relationship status. I'm not too sure about your situation but this is what we both did and so far, we've had nothing come back to have us questioned.

Did the embassy call your husband in for an interview?

I am so sorry to hear that. Did you supply notarized letters by your friends and family? I submitted one for a friend, as did a few more friends and family, and they also submitted pictures of their wedding, evidence of their relationship (photos, Facebook conversations, etc), and in her case it worked. They are the cheesiest couple I've met, so I'm sure they were able to submit tons of evidence of their relationship.

I know someone who got a similar rejection as you did, in their case the problem is that their wedding pictures didn't look "real" enough. It was a very small wedding and she didn't wear a western white gown, and I guess the officer wasn't familiar with wedding attire from her region. She's going to appeal.

Wow, u guys were fully prepared. We had more than 50pics, and more evidence but I guess every country is different or every case is different. Our VO is in Accra Ghana. No he was never given any chance for interview at all. But it's all good, we are finally at the ending now

Well I hope your appeal will work out and be able to reunite with your husband. Just pray everything will work out.
