Good evening everyone,
Something I’d like to pick your brain on:
My wife applied for her citizenship in August 2017, she got her “Decision Made” status change early December and waiting for the oath invitation.
I know a couple close friends who (incidentally) applied before her and after her. Both of them got their oath letter!
We’re talking about the same processing office, and assuming that a “Decision Made” status means... Decision made!
I called the CIC helpline in the hope of getting some clarification as to why she’s still waiting and our friends were not... They did confirm that all verifications were completed and she’s indeed waiting for the oath invitation but couldn’t tell me why there was a longer delay IN BETWEEN two other applicants who both got their decision made BEFORE and AFTER her respectively!!!
Anyone has any insight to share on this mysterious “queuing” algorithm that CIC is using to assign oath dates?
Thanks!
