Hi,

I would like to apply my wife's mother a super visa. My wife does not have a job at the moment. Would there be any problem if the financial proof of the family unit comes only from the husband of the daughter of the parent and not the direct child?

Thanks!

Hi,

There's no problem. You can be the co-inviter. You must prove that you meet LICO

Cheers

Follow up question... Can my brother in-law, who's a PR also here in Canada and still processing his wife's (child of the super visa applicant and my wife's sibling) spousal sponsorship, be included as a co-inviter and include his Notice of assessment? Even though my brother in-law does not live with us in the same house but in the same city/province?

No, he cannot be the co-inviter along with you and your wife. Only you and your wife can co-sponsor her for her current application.

Your brother-in-law and his wife (child of the super visa applicant) cannot sponsor your mom-in-law for a super visa until his wife (i.e. your wife's sister) becomes a PR
