Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

I have the passport back and I want to do the same thing as my parents are in Canada now. what is Flagpole . how they can be landed without leaving Canada?

If your parents have USA visa or are from US visa exempt country, then they can enter usa by land and come back to Canada and complete the landing process. On the other hand if they don't have USA visa or if are not from US visa exempt country, they can enter usa by land and tell them that your parents are flag-poling and they will do a administrative refusal of Admission to USA and then your parents can go back to Canada and can complete the landing process.

Can anyone suggest what is the next step once ECAS status changes to Decision Made? Does it mean next step is Passport Request?

I am with Ottawa Visa office. 2nd Medical was done on Jan 27th, 2018; status changed to medical passed on Jan 30th, 2018.

And today ECAS status changed to Decision Made. My application is already linked and received the Pre-arrival letter and 2nd medical request through their online system. Did not receive them by mail.

Question I have: does Passport Request letter come by their online system? or by mail or email? My application is already linked.

Appreciate your inputs.

Passport request will come by email. You will receive it within 1 week with subject Ready for Visa.

We received the passport and COPR from Ottawa office yesterday. I called to book an appointment with Etobicoke office and IRCC agent told me that we cannot land to local IRCC office because my parents cannot stay more than 6 months on super visa and they already crossed 6 months. My parents are here on super visa from last July 2017. This is the third time they are visiting me. As per IRCC agent, they can stay in Canada till 2 year on first visit only, after that it's 6 months only. I was not aware about this. Is this true?

She told me apply for restoration or do flagpole or visit home country and come back. I am planning for flagpole tomorrow morning but worrying about parents expired status. Anyone went though this type of condition?

No need to worry as what has been done is done.Go with the flag polling as that is the best bet.No need to make an appointment.Rather than going to Niagra falls crossing consider going to one mearby Kingston which i assume is Lansdown.Straightforward and very helpful staff.

Just want to ask if you submitted that form via email or uploaded on mycic account, because there's no email account to reply . I got the same letter on mycic account asking for my mother's IMM5562 not my father 's and he is principal applicant.

Hi. We received it through my mum's email and sent it through email (CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) as requested by CIC. My mum does not have mycic account.

Received passport request by email. We have 30 days to submit PP together.
But the problem is Dad is back home and Mom is here in Canada. How do ni request them to extend PP submission to 60 days.
Anyone gone thru similar situation

BCG is in progress for about 14 months :/
Re-medicals were done in mid-November 2017.

do you think CIC could ask me to do another financial evaluation? and if i don't qualify, they can reject the application?

BCG is in progress for about 14 months :/
Re-medicals were done in mid-November 2017.

Woh !!! Now this is a bit crazy, how come the background is in progress for 14 months ??
I know Gary & Yeti who did re-medicals in Nov 2017 got their Passport request but think their background was in progress for max 1-3 months.
Is you visa office NDVO ?

Hello,Everyone,We came India on 02-02-2018 at 6.30 AM & We have done re-medical on 02-02-2018 at 10.00 AM in Ahmedabad,India as we have pre-booked for medical examination.Today on 07-02-2018,I have seen that status changed to "DECISION MADE" from earlier status "IN - PROCESS".ENJOY.No hurry to come in Canada.

you must report about 1 more member, did you do?
don't worry about 2018 income, maximum they can ask you 2017 NOA but I don't think so.
I think you have medical expired in Feb. or later since you got IME request in Jan.
just report about baby for now if you don't want any problems
