Hi All. Completed my oath this afternoon. Whole ceremony took about an hour. Got there at 1:10pm.. they checked my drivers license and health card + confirmation of PR. They kept my PR card though. The ladies at the front took about an hour to check everyone's documents. There was about 100 people in total. After ceremony.. took pictures with the judge. We were told to apply for our passports on friday the earliest as they require 2 full business days. I also inquired about assuming my hubby's last name.. and was tols i just need to change my drivers license etc, and then include my marriage certificate in the application.

All in all the whole process for me took 6 months. Applied on Aug 15th 2017 and oath was today 6th Feb 2018. To those waiting, dont worry you will soon receive your citizenship too, just be patient.

My ECAS status changed today to Decision Made (2 months from test). Waiting for last step, Oath invitation.
Hope all who are waiting their test invite get it soon and all those waiting for Decision Made status get it as well soon, and finally, I hope for all who are waiting their oath invite will get very soon.

Wow, still we need to wait till March, my status the Decision made since two weeks ago and still waiting for the oath appointment, time is very slow to reach the last step of the process

Hello there,
Someone help with my concern.
We received an invitation to write the test on Feb 8th in Glen Erin Drive, Mississauga location. May I know when we will be invited for the oath ceremony after written test particularly with this location in Mississauga?
I am concerned about this because I am traveling abroad on Feb 22nd. Is it possible for me to take the oath later or reschedule that procedure?
If I attend the oath ceremony I have to apply for a visa for the travel as I will become a Canadian citizen. I will not be allowed to travel with my country passport and the visa procedure for my country takes at least 2 months (my travel is a kind of emergency).

not sure if someone has replied to you yet. but yes, you can tell the person who interview you to adjust your oath date. I did it in the same office.
