Hi Is it necessary to get Medical done within 30 days of receiving ITA. I am nominated by SINP received ITA on 10th January 2018. Now can I get Medical done with in 90 days of receiving ITA or within 30 days of receiving ITA ? I have generated checklist in PR application. What do you suggest

Hi,

You have to submit the proof that you have done your medicals with your application submission after ITA.

You have 90 days to submit all required documents including proof of medical examination from the date of your ITA.

So, you need to do medical before you submit your application after ITA.

I have the same question ?
I have send my passport for PCC to consulate so cannot proceed with medical since medical require original passport.

Is it necessary to have medical done within 30 days of ITA ?

You need medicals to be done before submitting all your docs after ITA within 90 days. So in short you do not need to get it in 30 days but need to have medicals done when you submit your application within 90 days of ITA issuance.

Aaah, your reply is a relief.

Then did I interpret it wrong on the website. What does the 30 days thing stand for then ? Just curious.

Thanks so much!:)

It stands for outdated information that should be ignored.
I have another question. Is medical report directly sent to IRCC.
If so we do not then upload anything related to medical at the the end of 90 days ?
Do they handover any record which will need to be upload since I contacted the panel of physicians in my city and they said the report is sent to IRCC directly.

Thanks

Yes, the report itself is sent directly (or uploaded to be more specific) to the system IRCC uses.

You only need to upload the e-medical sheet the clinic will provide after doing your medicals

Wait for instructions once you have submitted your application.
We’ll send you instructions on how to get your medical exam done. You must go for your medical exam within 30 daysof receiving these instructions.

If you do not follow these instructions, we may refuse your application.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html

These instructions from CIC site are post application, so I believe after submitting your application, if they want you to get additional tests done, then they will notify you and in that case you should get those medical exams done within 30 days or else your application will be rejected,

As already stated those instructions are outdated.
