Changing my work history before ITA

Hey everyone,..

So yesterday I was gathering some of my previous work experience documents such as offer letters and appointment letters and I realized I put some of the dates on my EE application wrong!. Of course I need to change it now but I'm just worried if it ok to do so or would it look funny?.. I haven't received ITA yet or anything but recently I have gained a higher score and I may have a good chance in the next draw.
I have also decided to delete some work experience for one company because I can't find my appointment letter and I'm sure the manager is unlikely to send me a reference letter. So It's better to delete it than failing to prove later that I actually worked there?

Please advise.

Do not change it-- that would not look good. Instead, withdraw your profile, and create a new one with the correct information.

I am not sure about the second question, but I had a similar situation. I asked my employer, and he gave me a letter that I worked there, but it had a lot of necessary information missing. I uploaded that letter, and in my letter of explanation I put that my employer refused to provide more information, and emphasized that this position is not essential to my nomination; and, they let it slide, and did not require any more information about that position.

You do not have to withdraw your application. DO NOTE: You can change your application before getting ITA. If you recognize a mistake then correct it. Only after ITA you cannot change and will have to reject your ITA. In your case since you still have not received ITA you are free to make corrections.
Secondly, yes you can remove the work experience you do not wish to claim points for if you think your employer will not help provide documents. That does not change the fact that you actually worked there. Hence you have to include it in your personal history and also mention about it in LOE explaining your reason saying you do not wish to claim points for a certain work experience.

Thank you for your answer.. I am thinking of contacting all my previous employers (4 of them) and make sure they will give me the reference letter before accepting any ITA.
