Spousal sponsorship

Hi Guys - I'm in the process of Sponsoring my spouse through Outland application. From the posts in the forum, I understand that the workflow is something like :
AOR1from Mississauga -> PCC and Schedule A Request -> Sponsorship Approval -> Medical Request -> AOR2 from local VO -> Final Decision.
Can anyone confirm this or update me if I'm missing anything ?

I have seen some posts with medical request earlier than SA? any idea what is trend for NDVO these days

Generally speaking, NDVO is about 10-12 months. The most recent responses they got from NDVO was that NDVO will inform those applicants in May-June, 2018 that filed applications around May-July, 2017

Hello all! I am newbie here. My husband is the principal applicant and he is sponsoring me. He is a PR. We have applied on 27april, 2016. It's been almost two years but still we do not have any updates. My husband contcated his local MP in last June, And came to know that the application is in the security and criminality verification stage.
Both of us are frustrated now because of the long distance..
In addition, I am government officer in my country. Is this a barrier for this lengthy process?

Did you just say your husband is the principal applicant and he is sponsoring you? I thought the principal applicant is the person being sponsored

Hello Everyone.

I have a question here, I'm filling the form (I'm the principal applicant), IMM5562e, my spouse is PR. In question 2 part b (Your spouse or common law partner) , do I have to add my spouse travel information? Basically he's travelled from Canada to my home country (Colombia) a few times last year, do I need to put that?

Hello,
I recently got married and put my PR file for my wife who currently residing in India. I put her application in Decmeber 2017. I would like to get her on a visitors? Will it be a problem if I try and get her on a visitors visa as the PR process will take long?
I have an agent that deals with she sent the file to CPC Mississauga its been over a month when do we get the file number?
Is that file number only assigned once the file has reached the Canadian embassy in Delhi?

I applied inland at the beginning of December and they started processing my application about three weeks ago. Two weeks ago they requested a couple extra documents. I´m desperately waiting for the open work permit, which I believed was granted as soon as they started processing the application. How much longer do you think it´ll take for the owp?

I didn't realize you were referring to linking your app. If you have a look, there are several threads about this where people have detailed how they were able to link their apps.

If you are applying INSIDE, then you might get OWP after sponsor is approved. And it takes 2-4 months or more as INSIDE process is slower

My BACKGROUND CHECK almost took 06 months but still in process

How long could i will wait more to get PASSPORT request.

Select permanant residence then sub category family class (spouses)
Then application number and family name
Do not fill place of birth but just type only one click space and then country of birth
Fill passport information

And the last step number of family member put it only 02

Sorry what do u meanby only one click space:/ and for fam name its the principle applicants last name right?

I shall try this.... one other question do u know if ecas ever updates like mine just has two lines...sec line says process started and line one says app reveived

Although ever since my process started i have received several emails of SA and sch A request and even tbat my app has forwarded to london office ... any idea whats up with ecas
