Can someone please let me know what is the criteria to calculate point for work ex under the 67 point calculator. Does it have to be in the recent 5 or 10 years
I have 5 year exp from 2006 to
2010.

If I were to start working this year then should it be in the same domain as my previous experience and is there a specofic duration I should be working for ie can I work for just 1 or 2 months.
Is there any detailed information available in this aspect.

No specific duration.

If you want to claim further points under the six selection factors then the NOC must be the same as your Primary NOC.
If you want to claim CRS points you can use other skilled NOC's as long as you meet the requirement of a year of continuous full-time work experience under your Primary NOC.

Further to my previous query can somone please let me know the following. As on date I have exactly 67 points however since i cross the age limit in May 2018 I lose 1 point. Hence I would like to know if it is sensible to apply for an express entry now. Would I be thrown out of the system automatically in May.
