Resign from job after ITA?

Hi All

Can I resign from my current job after getting AOR ? Do I need to update CIC about this as I mentioned this as my current job at the time of application submission.kindly help

Relax mate, that's no guarantee of a PR, so better wait until you get the immigrant visa which could take around 6 months. Then you still have around another 6 months after getting the visa to land in Canada, validity date is on the COPR document. Typically the info you need to update CIC about is your civil status or with family if you're applying with them.

I already passed the medicals and in na2 from last 2months . I have to serve 3 months notice period and my medical validity expired in august . So I thought to plan accordingly
