Can I explain about the extended periods of leave (leave without pay for pursuing higher studies) in LOE? Will stating that I am on leave from my company for 2 years will hamper my chances to get PR?

Considering the situation, it doesn't look like the cutoff will get below 441 next week. So it shall I reckon 441 or above considering the overflow of applicants on that regional landmark.

There is still hope if by any chance we can have a single back to back draw in either February or March cause from April it ll be more difficult for the CRS to go down considering just at minimum the fortnight draws with 2750. So, the chance for the 430'same will be in this two month of February and March.

From April, we can see pnp nominated people, fresh graduates, and also a lot of H1B candidates entering into the pool in good numbers so crs might remain very high then.

This thread isn't as hopeful as it used to be. Everyone seems sad and on edge. I don't like it. We need to send some positive energy to CIC so that they will do something good soon.

Which Diploma do you have? is it by chance BTEC Level 3? I have a BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering but I am afraid that I will get a diploma equivalency.

I am not aware about BTEC. I have a Diploma in Economics from the University of London. Got ECA done. All seems ok.

anything less than 441 will be a bonus and anything more than 442 will mean a bad news for the 430's & consequently the late 420's too. Fingers crossed, lets hope for the best.

nope. As long as you meet MEC and of course meet the CRS cutoff, all is well!
