Understanding the process of entering pool/receiving ITA

Hello folks,

A newbie here.. I am trying to get better understanding of the process of this express entry pool ITA process.

Say, if I receive invitation and fail to provide all required documents within 90 days - what happens?

Say, if i receive invitation in Feb - meaning, I should submit all my documents by May (90 days) and foresee that some of my documents (the PCCs from USA) would arrive by June. What is my best chance to handle this?
First, write a letter and explain my situationto ask for extra time
Second, do I need to wait till my invitation expires in order to re-enter pool? Or having foreseen things - can I enter pool again with same profile in March month draw also?

1 - If you fail to submit your application within 90 days then you'll be back in the pool and would have to wait for another ITA.
2 - If you do not get your PCC in time you can upload a letter of explanation asking for an extension along with proof that you've applied for such PCC.
3 - You can decline your invitation at any time and by doing so you'll be automatically back in the pool.
