Not a citizen of NL, Living outside NL, Need a NL PCC for Canada PR

Hi All,

I am actually confused after going through all the forums and threads.
I want to know if I am not a NL citizen, have resided in NL for 1 year in 2012 and currently outside NL , so do I need to post by physical passport by mail to the Justis The Hague to receive certificate of Conduct ?

This is the official guide by IRCC. Most instructions are quite clear and country specific.

Hi Danny,

I agree the instructions are clear but this link mentions that we have to send a "Valid Passport" and not a copy of passport.

The Justis of NL wesbite however mentions a "Copy of Passport".

Secondly the Justis on NL website mentions that they can send it to Dutch address , so does that require a authorization form since I only want it to be sent to a Dutch address and not authorize my friend to apply on my behalf.

Lastly the adding of NL bank , and wiring of money that also one would want to confirm the address as the Justil of NL website does not provide address unless you click on sublinks which I found out only yesterday.

There are always questions and process which stand out than what is actually mentioned and a guidance from people who have already undergone this process always help.

I have been able to recieve an ITA only because of this great forum and members who helped with answers readily.

My intention is to hear from people who have applied or have undergone a similar process instead of links.

Hi Everyone,

I found answer by calling the Justis of NL,Netherland and thought of sharing:

Call number -
+31 (0) 88 - 998 22 00
Keep pressing 1 (ein) option until it connects you to a person. (They happily oblige to talk in English, just request for it :))

If you live outside NL and is non- citizen just send the following on Email vog.np.rni@minvenj.nl

- Copy of first and last page of passport
- Add the ITA email from IRCC, that should be sufficient and mention it on the body of email the list of documents provided by you.
- Filled in application form found at - https://www.justis.nl/producten/vog/certificate-of-conduct/faq/where-can-I-apply-when-I-am-not-registered.aspx
- Proof of transfer of Funds to bank:
Account number NL31 INGB 0705 0054 53 in the name of Justis / COVOG in The Hague, stating the name of the applicant. For a transfer from abroad you need the following information: BIC code INGBNL2A, ING Bank. Address: ING Bank SA, Foreign Operations, PO Box 1800, 1000 BV Amsterdam.

- If you have a friend in NL , who can recieve your VOG then just mention his/her address on the body of email. No need to authorize him/her.

- It takes 2-4 weeks to issue the cerificate

Sorry I didn't mean to discourage you from asking specific questions :) I posted a link just to make sure that people are aware of these online instructions. For most countries, these instructions are the most accurate possible. Apologies if you are offended.

I am trying to pay from my Canadian bank but it asks me to select the bank branch.

How did you pay from Canada?
