I agree -- I sent them an email and got a reply two days later, along with a movement from NA2 to IP2.
I sent to LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. A simple email asking for the status of my application and I gave my details (Application Number and Name).
This is the first time I sent them an email after my file was sent to them in November 2017. I am thinking they reply as long as email is not sent too early from the day file was sent to LVO. But this is just my thought.
Lucky you. Did u order GCMS Note at any point?
Rest assured PPR is already knocking at your door.
From their reply, I knew they checked my file upon receiving the email since they addressed me by my name unlike the usual generic reply. I really got lucky with this one.

My AOR Is may 30 2017. Meds passed on 14 June 2017.ADR on Oct 17.2017.
Since then no movement. Emailed them twice n raised cse once. Always got the same reply that background check is in progress. Medicals expiring in March 2018.painful n agonizing wait

I mailed them today n got the reply that background k ground check is still in progress. Will have to get a replacement medical if don't get PR before March
