Only education you are claiming points for goes under Education section. Other education goes under Personal History section and you will not need to submit any documents for it. Good Luck!

Thank you for your reply. Below is how my post ITA education history form looks. This was pre-populated by the system using my EE profile. So, are you saying that I delete all but the first row from education history form as I have WES evaluation for just that degree? Wouldn't the inconsistency between my EE profile and this form be a cause of heartburn for me in the future? Also just double checking again, no need to put school or high school info anywhere, correct? Asking this again because the education history specifically asks for secondary education and beyond.

PHP:
Field of study From year? To Level of education Action
Science, Applied 2011-09 2013-09 Masters degree Modify/delete
Science, Applied 2006-05 2008-05 Masters degree Modify/delete
Science, Applied 2000-07 2004-06 Bachelors degree Modify/delete
Below is how the personal history section looks. Do I really need to keep my bachelor's degree since it is over 10 years old? Asking this because the form asks history information for the last ten years and mandates that there be no gaps in time. So if it is recommended to keep the Bachelor's degree, then do I have to fill in the gap between my bachelor's and the first masters degree even though it would be more than 10 years from the time I submit the e-APR?

PHP:
Personal activities
From year? To Activity Type Action
2011-09 2013-09 Educational Modify/delete
2006-05 2008-05 Educational Modify/delete
2000-07 2004-06 Educational Modify/delete
2015-05 2017-09 Employment Modify/delete
2008-03 2009-11 Employment Modify/delete
Same question goes for my husbands personal history form. In his case both his bachelor's and master's have a WES evaluation. Can he remove everything except hist work history from the personal activities section of the Application/profile details form because rest is more than 10 years ago? Again, if it is recommended to have his bachelor's education in this section, then would he have to provide all information since 2003 because the form requires that there should be no gaps in time?

Also, I have seen if try to cover any gap in time, the form does not maintain the sequence of events even though it asks the sequence to be maintained. For example, when my husband tried to enter that he was looking for job between 2006-05 and 2006-10, that entry went to the bottom of the table instead all entries getting automatically reshuffled based on date.

Last question, why do you me and my husband may have a different sorting order in the history section? Mine is ascending whereas his is descending.

PHP:
Personal activities
From year? To Activity Type Action
1999-10 2003-10 Educational Modify/delete
2005-01 2006-05 Educational Modify/delete
2006-10 2008-10 Employment Modify/delete
2008-10 2010-10 Employment Modify/delete
2010-10 Employment Modify/delete

Yes. If you have done the ECA for only the first Masters degree (2011-2013), then you only need to list this one under Education section.

Wouldn't the inconsistency between my EE profile and this form be a cause of heartburn for me in the future?
No. You may add a comment in the letter of explanation that you have removed degrees that you are not claiming points for. There will be no issues as long as everything is listed under Personal History.

Also just double checking again, no need to put school or high school info anywhere, correct? Asking this again because the education history specifically asks for secondary education and beyond.
No need to list secondary education.

PHP:
Field of study From year? To Level of education Action
Science, Applied 2011-09 2013-09 Masters degree Modify/delete

Just remove anything beyond 10 years as it is not required.
Also, you'd better rearrange your Personal History section to be in chronological order.
Also, I can see many gaps in your Personal History section in the past 10 years. You should have no gaps between activities (the end of one activity should be the start of the next activity). If you were doing nothing, just add a line for this as 'Unemployment'.

PHP:
Personal activities
From year? To Activity Type Action
2011-09 2013-09 Educational Modify/delete
2006-05 2008-05 Educational Modify/delete
2000-07 2004-06 Educational Modify/delete
2015-05 2017-09 Employment Modify/delete
2008-03 2009-11 Employment Modify/delete

Anything beyond 10 years is irrelevant to IRCC, so remove details before 10 year and make sure not to leave any gaps.

Delete everything, write down your entries on a piece of paper and make sure that everything is complete and in order, then enter these details in your application one by one in order.

Last question, why do you me and my husband may have a different sorting order in the history section? Mine is ascending whereas his is descending.
It depends on how you entered your details. Follow the previous comment for all sections in your application.

PHP:
Personal activities
From year? To Activity Type Action
1999-10 2003-10 Educational Modify/delete
2005-01 2006-05 Educational Modify/delete
2006-10 2008-10 Employment Modify/delete
2008-10 2010-10 Employment Modify/delete
2010-10 Employment Modify/delete

Thank you for your detailed response. It is really helpful.

So as per your recommendation, I will go ahead and delete non-WES evaluated master's and bachelor's degree from the education history. However, I guess I need to leave the Master's degree from 2006 -2008 in the personal history section as the end date of this degree is within the 10 year period. Correct?

Also, since my husband has both his master's and bachelor's evaluated from WES and I had marked them as such in my EE profile, do I leave them as it is in the education history section? Or, do I take out his bachelor's as well?

Again thank you for your reply.

Also, just being curious, what do you think might be the pitfalls (if any) of keeping non-WES evaluated degrees in the Education history section? I had already marked the option for missing credential evaluation in my EE profile?

Just jumping in here - the principle is that you won't get extra credit for listing any non-ECAed degrees under education history section. Meanwhile you MIGHT be penalized or questioned for listing a non-ECAed degree here without having an ECA report. Choose wisely.

Thank you for taking time out to reply. This is a great question, but then why does the CIC website provide users with options to mark their degrees as ECAed vs non-ECAed?

That is correct. You will have to include it in Personal History since a part of it is within the 10 year window.

Also, since my husband has both his master's and bachelor's evaluated from WES and I had marked them as such in my EE profile, do I leave them as it is in the education history section? Or, do I take out his bachelor's as well?
If he has done ECA for both, then just leave both of them.

Again thank you for your reply.

The main goal here is to get the maximum CRS points with the least amount of paperwork, right?
So we, as applicants, should focus on removing any redundant information from the application to make it easier for the officer making the decision on your application. More documents mean more checks and more chances of making a mistake by the applicant and the visa officer as well.
At the end, if you are worried, you can always add comments to the letter of explanation to explain why you removed these degrees from the Education section (not claiming points for them), etc. Good Luck!

I need your kind input to the following:
I added only my MSc to "Education History" since I did ECA for just that. But my first degree is beyond 10 years. Do I have to include it in "Personal History" anyway?
