i have called CIC today to find out why is that I did not receive the AOR as I see others for the same date have received, and the response was that its very early to receive for the same date. but ideally its max 2 months by when it should be expected to receive the AOR and if not then call back us, he wants me to wait for another 2 days to 1 week to get the AOR. Fingers crossed.

Ours was recieved on 27 Dec, that was the date that was stamped on the applications. The letter they sent was dated 24 January. So they are looking at 27+ applications from what I see

Does anyone recommend specific FP location in Calgary? I was told some location send results instantly some take forever, any recommendation, Pls.

I assume when they receive our application in the next day or two that it will go stright through rather than sitting behind others - any comments from the learned seniors?

Your re-submitted application will go through the regular process of getting AOR. Once you get AOR, then maybe it will be put into processing relatively quickly, but no guarantees.

Don't worry, they will treat our applications fast once they start processing.. I got mine returened twice. initially its was wrong application form for my kid (strange is when i got it back for the first time it says mine and my wife application is complete its just kid application form) I re-sent it with new form.. then I got it back again saying language requirements are not fulfilled on my wife application.. (because of IELTS was acadamic instead of general).

Initial application delived on 19th Oct
Second time delivered on 15 Nov.
Third time delivered on 22 Dec...

So technically I am December applicant now
