Should Amount of Funds while landing match the amount mentioned in PR Application ?

Dear Seniors,

I am a single applicant and got PR in FSW category.I plan to land in in March 2018

As per CIC website single person must carry CAD 12,474 whereas I mentioned that I will carry along CAD 20,000 as per my PR application.

Should I carry what I declared .i.e.CAD 20,000 or simply anything above CAD 12474.

Please i'd like to confirm.. when you say "carry" ... should it be in cash? Or can you present bank statement of your originating country?

I had only 30 USD in cash :P at the time of landing. I had shown print out bank statements from US and Canadian banks.

Is it Okay to carry a Demand Draft from India ( thats where I am from) of an amount equal to 12474 CADs. Hope thats acceptable to Canadian authorities?
