Hi Guys!
I just wanna ask for your pieces of advise regarding this situation.
My 17 year old daughter (PR) is coming to Canada with my uncle. Since the father and I are not together anymore the father provided the consent to travel when we applied for the PR (August 2017). Can I use the IMM 5064 (consent to travel) to facilitate the travel, and also im planning to give my uncle authorization letter to facilitate the travel. I cant personally pick up my daughter back home because i am in school finishing my Nursing bridging course.
Any thoughts guys, or anybody here had the same experience as mine? Pls share your experiences.
Thank you!

What you did is all good, except that you need your uncle to get a TRV in order to travel with/escort your 17 yrs old daughter to Canada. If your uncle already has the TRV, then it should be no problem, if he doesn't have the TRV, then he needs to demonstrate very strong ties to his home Country in order to convince the VO that his travel will be temporary and there is no intention for him to stay in Canada permanently.

Oh i forgot to mention my uncle is a Canadian citizen. Is it a good idea if i will also enclose a letter from school just to show the officers that i have a valid reason why i cant personally pick up my daughter.
And another thing, does it mean that i dont have to get another consent from the father since i have the IMM 5604? Does IMM5604 has an expiration?
Thank you for replying.

As a legal guardian of your minor daughter, it is perfectly legal to provide your consent to any adult(s) to accompany your daughter to anywhere she would travel to. And plus you have your ex. husband's consent as well, so it is all good, and you don't have to explain why you cannot go pickup her yourself. Just a simple consent letter to your uncle should work.
