I guess now all we're waiting on is for Mississauga to transfer our application to the proper VO. Can't find much info about LA VO and their process...it'll probably get sent there, right?

I already submitted police clearance certificate. Now I want to know how long I have to wait for medical examination?is there any time period. please do let me know.

Late last night received what i presume is my file transfer email/AOR2...? It actually came to my sponsors email, i thought it would come to mine. The email subject was "OVS Sponsorship Eligibility Decision FCP VO (application number)."

It said my application has been forwarded to London visa office for processing. Felt a little disheartened as hoped they would keep it at Mississauga and just fire it through quickly! But who is to know how fast things will go.

Just happy its on the move!

Okay happy to see any movement of your file. But really I thought your file is moving so fast and following your status always as we are the applicant of same date (24/10/2017). Hope you will get further updates soon!

My application has also been sent to the regional office (singapore) without giving them all the documents yet. I sent my police checks to the Canada office, but still haven't been asked to do a medical. So strange that it is so different for everyone. Bit frustrating as I would like to have just finished all the little bits I have to get done for this, but hopefully not much longer to wait!

Hi! So when your file has transferred to Singapore? Generally medical request is asking from VO. So don't worry! Your file is walking in the right way.

Btw I gave them a copy of my old PCC for one country with the main application, which I need to submit for 2 separate countries and not older than 6 months from the date of application submission. Don't know are they considered the submitted one or not or they didn't feel the necessity of new PCC!! However, till today they didn't ask for any PCC. Little bit worried for PCC & medical request!!

The order in which they do things is very strange to me and I can't even imagine what factors might affect the timing of almost anything.

In my case, I got the request for police certificates and the request for medical around the same time, before the application was ever sent out to London. Then I also saw that my application status on ECAS switched to In Process before I ever got the File Transfer Notice. These all strike me as strange because in reading this forum I've learned that these are all things that are supposed to be done after the application moves to the VO.

I guess everything is different for everybody and I say this because I can imagine that it might be somewhat comforting to those who are still eagerly waiting for their application to reach different steps.

It was the same for my husband (the PA), everything (PCC, Sched A, medical, ECAS in process) happened before the file was transferred to the local VO. I agree you never really know how your timeline will go. Often see people write on here there’s no “rhyme or reason” as to how they process and it’s definitely true o_O

Hey October 27 applicant here.
I got the transfer email to LVO January 16th, and I had the ECAS update saying they started processing my application January 24th. All though no email or anything else to confirm it arrived in London. I’m sure yours will be updated soon.
