Hi there.

Congratulations to the folks who got the PPR request and to the folks that are finally together. God bless!

That being said, I am seeing here that some May 2017 applicants already got the PassPort Request while we're still in the following process...

So I was wondering if any May 2017 applicants, if you guys can please kindly update on Background Check specifically along with PPR request, the date and status for each.

Application received - May 18, 2017
AOR1 - July 16, 2017
File Transfer to India - July 28, 2017
Started Processing(AOR 2) in India - August 2, 2017

Medical and PCC - October 31, 2017.

Background Check - Not Applicable.

Thanks a lot

Hi VJN,
Thank you very much for the information. One more thing, will you be informing IRCC about your upcoming visit to India? And how do these guys know about your current employment status? Let say if the sponsor quits the job and come, how do they get to know about it? ( Not doing anything of this sort, but just a question in my mind)!
Hi Zara12, to be honest I am not telling CIC about my any visit. We are Indian Citizen so there is no one who can stop us going to our home country. About the employee status NVDO has no way of finding however, in case some one question you at border you can tell you got into emergency or whatever that's why you decided to extend your stay in India with solid proof you are still an Canadian employer employee ..

so far from this forum.. there are 3 May applicants who have got PPR. one was nbhagat in Nov 2017 (he was chosen as part of the pilot program and also he had applied for TRV for his spouse which they asked to withdraw bc they were giving him PPR). Another 2 we came to know yesterday, who had interviews in December... so those are the only 3 we know so far and obviously their process is different than the rest of us.. so those who are patiently waiting "normal" May folks.. don't worry- our turn is next!

Any update May/ June applicants

Isn't it so weird that people who had been queued for an interview (May applicants) got PPR already and us regular folks...with not even a BCG update.. I think CIC's deadline for May applicants was end of Jan so the interviewed applicants would have already been in their system and I think CIC decides on their decision which is why it happened timely... where as those who are waiting and collecting dust in the new delhi visa office don't seem to give much attention to deadlines and due dates. Frustrating to say the least but gotta keep up the hopes!
