Part-time schooling while having PGWP

Hi all,

I'm currently holding a PGWP with a 2 year Diploma. I'm thinking to do school part time to get a 3 year B.tech to increase my point.

My questions are:

1) Does full time work experience during my part time study count in Express Entry?

2) Does part time program count for my Express Entry Canadian Education or it has to be full time? Can i take some courses online within the program?

Please help me with my concerns, thank you in advance

SIGH. It should, you have a PGWP, and you would only be studying part-time. But you will need to get a new study permit to study part-time. Under the rules as written, it should count; but who knows, it may not be easy to convince a VO of that.

2) Does part time program count for my Express Entry Canadian Education or it has to be full time? Can i take some courses online within the program?

Yes, you can study part-time and yes, you can take online courses. (The rules are not the same as for getting a PGWP). Here, the credential is what matters, not how you get.
