Hello all,
I am in a bit of trouble, i got my COPR and left for india for my vaccation and decided to do landing formalities once i return, while i was in india i got married but didnt inform about it to CIC. yestetday i came back to canada(calgary) and when i went to do my landing formalities with a officer i declared tht i got married, he took my COPR and my passport and gave me an appointment later nxt week and told he will have to talk to his higher authority about my case. I want to know what is going to happen next? Is there any chance of my PR getting rejected? Pls help as it is a stressfull situation for me. I didnt know tht i will get married so soon and during the whole pr process i didn't have any clue abt it. But at the same time i dint lie to the immigration officer regarding the same and told i got married.

If my process goes forward will they recalculate my express entry points becsuse my marital status has changed in my application ??
Pls pls help me with some answers

Advice: go talk to an immigration lawyer. It is clearly stated in the letter you get along your COPR that you must inform IRCC of changes in marital status before doing the landing procedure.

We have seen applicants in a similar situation but the difference being that they did not disclose their marriage when doing the landing procedure. I personally have never seen anyone in your situation.
