If you have exceeded 14 months, in processing, then you can send a letter/note to the VO via IRCC web form. They should respond to you within 28 days about your status.

Order the notes if you haven't done so recently. However, it will take you a month or so to get that information. I would also email the VO too. At this point, I think they should respond to you probably sooner than having to wait to get your notes about what is holding up your application from being finalized.

Thanks but I haven't ordered them because last time I contacted the MP office I was told that she passed the eligibility and now the file is waiting to clear security. The file is stuck on this stage for the last 7 months if not more.
