Bank accounts in my salary slips differ from the account provided in Proof of Funds document

I have 2 salary accounts 1 for past employer and 1 for current. But the savings account with the proof of funds money is in a third bank. I have all the letters from the third bank necessary for the Proof of Funds letter. But should I attach the pay stubs with my Employment Reference letters as they have the other salary accounts listed as bank accounts?

Will the CIC ask me to declare these 2 accounts as well?

I do not have salary details in my Employment reference letters but I have attached my Offer letters which have the entire breakup. Please let me know if I should add the pay stubs as well? or will they cause more problems?

Hello Hussain,

On an average an individual has a minimum of various 2-3 bank accounts. Nothing wrong in how you manage those accounts.

Remember, IRCC is ONLY interested in your proof of funds, irrespective of which bank account you show is irrelevant. Ofcourse it has to have your name but it does not matter if the Prrof of Fund account is not your Primary account where your salary was credited.

If you want you can always provide a Letter of Explanation (LOE) mentioning your bank accounts management but I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks for the response,

I read that one needs to declare all bank accounts with bank letters, hence my dilemma.

So even if I dont specifically provide details on the accounts on my salary slips, CIC will not raise an issue with me not declaring these accounts as well?. As it is not really possible for me to get Bank letters for these accounts.

Also I was thinking if I can upload my job offer letter (which has the entire salary breakup but without the bank account details) instead of the salary slips.

Regards,
Hussain

Hello Hussain,

Correct, you do not have to provide the account where your salary was being credited.

If I was you, I would move my funds in the account where I am confident I can get a Bank Letter and CLOSE the accounts in the bank where getting a letter is not possible. In that case you are not legally bound to declare that you have a Bank Account since you have closed your accounts and is not active anymore.

You may try to provide as much explanation possible in the LOE but remember the relevance of the document requested. This is Proof of Funds section and Job Offer letter may or may not work. But again, there is no restriction on what you can upload.

I have the letter from the current bank where the POF money is , I was just worried that the salary slips would cause a problem as it had a different account.

Guess I should be fine in uploading the salary slips.

no because you don't even have to upload salary slips. they're not a required document
i'm sure cic agents aren't dumb and realize that people manage their finances in different ways.

I was uploading salary slips as my employeers did not allow any salary information on the Employeer Reference letter.
And the CIC requirements state they needed salary info in the reference letter.

i meant that since salary slips aren't a requirement then the info on them is irrelevant as in what bank account they go to.
