Dear All ,

currently i a working in India a sales professional(exhibition,event industry), presently looking for a job in canada, i checked with a person who is working in the same profession in canada, he said first you need to immigrate here then you can get a job here in canada, i am not sure how to proceed it further.

Can someone help how can i proceed to get a job/immigration to canada ?

Your friend lied to you. One doesn't need to immigrate first in order to get a job here in Canada. For example, I hired my nanny to come to work for me in Canada as she worked for me in my other country. After a some years of working as my helper in Canada, she was eligible for immigration and brought her family to Canada.

Well, frankly your friend is not entirely wrong. Technically you can get a job in Canada without being in Canada or without being a PR but chances are very low if you do not have prior work or education in Canada. Unless someone is ready to sponsor you, immigrating is the way to go.
