Hi!

Just wanted to check if anyone has completed the medical exam in SF Bay Area recently? I believe there is only one doctor in CIC's panel in Northern California (in Berkeley). If yes, please let me know about your experience?

On a side note, what is the procedure that they we go through during this exam/test?

Thanks in advance! Any help is much appreciated!

Hi,

Could you please share your experience with the doctor? Also will there be a pap smear test for women? Would appreciate your help with this. Thank you!

Dr. Timothy Fitzer in San Francisco is very good. Physical exam takes 15-20 mins. Blood Draw 2 mins. They send you for x-ray to some other place on the same road where Dr. Fitzers office is, x-ray can take 2-3hrs depending on how busy they are! "No pap smear for women"

In addition to your passports, did you have to take any other documents for the medical exam?

Not sure why the focus on a pap smear but if you have a history of cervical cancer they may request one.

Thank you for the information. It is just that my wife would like to avoid an invasive test with a strange doctor if possible. If not then at least it might help to be mentally prepared.
