i am so happy for everyone getting their test invites, and passing tests and scheduling oath ceremonies!

but when is it going to be our turn?????? i mean, my husband's case is very simple. we had like 6 trips in the last 4 years. It has been 2 months that we are in progress. why would they not yet confirm the 6 trips? i think my husband's name is a common name, and it is causing the delay... according to october applicants, ottawa is already scheduling exams for february 20th. with our luck, my husbands will be the week of the 26th, where he has to go to USA for a business trip. :/

I think that a lot of septembers applicant understand what you're feeling. With law C6, things can be slower sadly, depending of your office. It's been 3 month since i've got my IP status and it looks like that we gonna have to wait again a little bit more. Nothing seems to move. I know it can be frustrating, but looking for the spreadsheet or this thread is not probably a good idea because we are comparing our case with each others, and of course, if your file is slower, you can become more impatient. I think it's better to look just once in a week this tread and the Ecase. Looking once in a week is not a big deal, cause they generally leave you 1 month to study for the test, so...

the only problem with us is that my husband will be going to a business trip at the end of the February. So if we get a test invite and it contradicts with his week long trip, then we need to act quick and give them a reason of why he can't attend that test date. I think delaying this process by a week is not really good for our case.

Ottawa office does not even seem to go 2 months for ip to test invite and hence today is month 2 for us. so it literally can be any day now. also giving the fact that october applicants are already being scheduled for february 20th for a test day, it is very possible for my husband to be scheduled the week of his trip!

The ielts results are initially requested as “photocopy of results” in the checklist of documents requested for the citizenship application. Therefore, no need to have original results of ielts. All you need to have is photocopy of ielts results or copy of transcripts.

I do have photo copy but not original . In test invite email it’s mentioned to keep all original handy that was submitted at the time of application . That’s why I am little worried boz original was sent to cic at the time of immigration

You should be fine with a photocopy I think. I don't think I have come across a case where the officer even checked the language proof during the interview.
