Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Hello Everyone , I would like to ask you about something.
I have applied for Inland Permanent Residence under Family Sponsorship (Common - Law) in August 2017 and I am still waiting for news.. I received an e-mail saying that my application for Open Work Permit will not be processed until my PR application Gets Approved in Principal. My question is .. Can I leave Canada and return to my home country until my application gets approved or I will have my application denied ?

We're all inland applicants, right? Do we just choose the Family Class option? I'm confused.

January 2nd 2018. I received that e-mail because I had sent an e-mail to the IRCC asking about my work permit and when it would be approved because it had exceeded the processing time .

just realize i didnt provide my email( principal applicant) only provided my husband's email.. does anyone have this experience? application received dec 11.

Maybe they'll send the AOR to your husband's email instead

If you don't mind me asking, what's your current status in Canada? if you've applied inland you need to be in land for the process I believe. I think you can leave for a visit but think that's it.

I'm a Feb applicant. Date application received: 02/21/2017
But I still didn't get AIP
Is it just me? Is there any other Feb applicant no AIP yet? I saw so many good news for Feb 2017 applicants but I'm not as lucky

Never miiiind, was able to link the PR application uring Application Number and UCI number, as well as 2 as the number of applicants (I was writing 1).

You are out of status that is why you will not receive a work permit until you reach AIP. Being out of status and wanting to leave the country is not a good idea on your return you might encounter problems with CBSA. If they decide not to grant you entry back into the country there goes your in-land application. It will be treated as abandon and then you will have to apply using outland. It is in your best interest to remain in Canada until your process is completed.

Try to be patient tomorrow is a year cic received my application and I have not received SA or AIP. So don't feel left out.

Oh that's annoying. Sorry to hear that. I am also a august applicant, and although I still have a work permit til Feb, I also got told I wouldn't get OWP until approval in principle. And I have no Idea when that is?

Hi!
Mine took exactly 3 months from App recd date. Nowdays it is between 3-4 months, assuming you have paid all the necessary fees ($100 OWP holder fee + $155 app fee)

Mine was 3 months and two weeks .. but timelines are really different
