Nope. I don’t want to keep bugging SGVO about the status too

Anyone here who is (or had been) a government employee, either principal applicant or spouse, can you share your timeline? How long was the BGC?

I'm a government employee currently here in Canada. I submitted my application CEC on October 19th. My status as follows:

AOR - Oct 19th
MP - Nov 7th
No additional documents needed - Nov 7th
BG - Nov 7th- In progress. We will send you a message if we need more information.

No updates since then. My BOWP was approved on Nov 21st. And I applied and received my visitor visa so i could travel over the holidays. I'm hoping all is well with my application and hope to get PPR soon, since I want to go back to school.

My AOR is 7-Sep and went to IP2 on 20-Dec, same day my spouse (new dependent) was added to my account. My husband is a government employee.

I ordered GCMS on 28-Dec, hoping to get it by end of this week or early next week.

I got my GCMS on Jan 5, i ordered the month before. I saw eligibility recommended pass on it. Not sure what else to expect.

I got an update from cic asking for updated proof of financial means within 7 days. Since, I am working in Canada for past 6 months and that my application crossed the "No additional documents needed", I took out my funds and used them. Now I have CAD 2000 only in my account. I can provide canadian offer letter, paystubs for past 6 months and my bank statements as proof of me managing my expenses in Canada. Would that suffice or will my application be rejected due to insufficient funds? I do not have any other means to be gifted of the remaining CAD 10000.

What class did you apply under? From my understanding you need to show that you have the settlement funds unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada. If you submit your work permit, confirmation of employment letter and pay stubs should be fine.

I have submitted my paystubs earlier when i submitted my application, but still the query has come back. Also in the GCMS notes I received the following wordings

Since I have only 7 days to respond, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Veebee! What happened with your old application? I always wondered after you stopped posting on the forum as you were part of the jan 2017 AOR!
