eventhough its says case close or investatgation is closed on the letter i receive? also they grant my citizenship too...thank you
The investigation is for your own PR status on the ground of misrepresentation that IRCC filed against you, it is not for your husband's case. We have seen cases that the sponsor successfully argued and won their cases for maintaining their own PR or Citizen status, but while their spouse are still excluded as their family member.

The applicant don't have to be physically in Canada plus the H&C rules was relaxed by the supreme Court in December, 2015. Every case is unique and they examine careful specially when there's children involve. The process usually takes longer but am certain ours will be approve. They requested documents, re medical and only waiting for PPR

Well, good for you, and as you said yourself, each case is unique and different. When someone asks opinions and advises on a public forum, we would like to provide such that is in a general trends. Extreme cases, lucky or unlucky, are existed, but in most cases, it just doesn't apply.

I was only speaking from experience, it might help her as her last resort. It's terrible situation to be in.

Your post is very supportive and kind. While some of our comments are harsh, but unfortunately it applies to most cases, and it is pretty much will be her reality.

The common sense here is intending to prepare anyone in such situation, in a worst possible way, and hopefully, they can act upon on it. Planning backup plan, thinking long term solutions that will benefit the family, and seeking professional help for other options. Hey, if the results end up like yours, that will be always a bonus.

but can i try to sponsor him again or i will have a prob;em???thank you
No - you can't. If you try again - he will be refused again.

He needs to find a way to immigrate on his own through an economic stream like Express Entry.

It's impossible for you to ever sponsor him.

You becoming a citizen do not have anything to do with applying for your husband AGAIN.
He was not listed under your family and is excluded life time from getting sponsored by you.

He will need to apply on HIS OWN with his own qualification, education and work experience...etc.

Hi Joy,
this might be a long shot, but I was wondering if you can share the letter you wrote and where you sent it. Not sure what CSS and MLA stands for.
A family member is in the same predicament as you. I hope to hear from you.
