Anyone still think more then 3 weeks is acceptable vacation ? @sp121212 @sangam44 any suggestions guys ?
sorry I haven't read your other posts today? are you a PR and are you going to visit your spouse? I am not 100% sure on this but PRs are usually okay with going on short vacation as long as you are not planing to live at a place temporarily; however, some posts on other forums are totally negating the idea that PRs can even go on a vacation. I am not sure what is the right amount of time for a "short vacation" is :/

Its 3rd August
you have a bit of a waiting to do then.. they are currently dealing with April applicants, and then May.. so on and so forth.. unless you end up being one of the lucky ones whose application is dealt with fast if it has been selected for a pilot program.. however, most of the time it goes according to the month received. July applicants recently got an email from NDVO saying that they would contact them in May/June; with that in mind since you are August, it could be June/July for you guys! Hope for the best! Good luck!

Yes, I am changing my plan to 3 weeks, lots of applicant in this forum suggesting not more then 3 weeks.
I’m a PR. I have been on vacation close to 5 weeks. There is no problem as long as you have a return ticket.

My husband is a citizen
And we filed our application in July 2017
He came to visit me in October for 45 days
His ticket was a two way one.
There should be no problem and you can give it a try.
