Here’s the thing. My wife will be visiting me in Canada around the end of feb and will be here for a couple of months. we intend to submit the pr application in a couple of weeks from now. What if she’s in Canada when the CIC requests this information. Can she get the police certificate and medical exam done in Canada while being on a visitor visa?

PCC can be obtained from Indian consulate in Canada. Apply PCC after 15 days of application receive date. Medical can be done from designated medical facility in canada..

Also I could apply for those before she gets here and just upload when they ask for it right? PCC we’ll get from the psk.

PCC is valid for 3 months from issue date.. plan accordingly..

Applicant visa copies not asked, only needs to provide travel info. in IMM55e. Sponsor to submit copies of visa and immigration stamps on his passport as a proof that sponsor had visited applicant during their relationship. Please provide docs as per checklist including India specific checklist.. I would advise you to go through Family sponsorship guide so that you don't miss any info..

Only the principle applicant needs to fill schedule A and get pcc !
I suggest you to refer the form filling guidelines available on cic site as you are lot confused!

Yes done that. Need to fill out the supplementary travel info. So here’s my understanding -
Enter all the travel information for the sponsor and the pa regardless if they travelled to meet each other or not but provide stamped pages only for travels made to visit each other. Other stamped pages need not be provided for the pa and the sponsor?

When did u submit ur passport and which vfs?

Many people got it back in less than 10 days
And i submitted on 29 December but still waiting

I submitted on 16th jan in mumbai.
Hope in this week we get it back.
Now again i dont wont to play a waiting game
