Hi po, natanggap ko yung pre-arrival along with the PPR na. Though hindi mandatory, dami nagsasabi helpful siya. Sabi ko kay hubby attend siya. Makakatulong din sa pag alam ng info na kailangan.

Hi po, medyo matagal ang pag antay pagdating sa MVO. Pero umuusad din. 5 months app ni PA sa MVO, tahimik within those months.

Hello everyone. First post ko po dito.

Newlywed po kami ng misis ko sa pinas and hinihintay namin yung marriage certificate for various reasons. First is para maisama sa application package. Second is para sa pagkuha ng NBI Clearance. Third is for passport renewal and so on. Ako po yung PR sa Canada (Sponsor) tapos ang misis ko naman ang Applicant s Pinas. May several questions lang po sana ako sainyo.

1. Is it better for her to change her last name to follow mine before we submit our application OR should we submit our application then send a follow-up document containing a copy of the new passport OR should we just do the name change once she gets here in Canada?
   
   
2. For NBI Clearance, are cedula, barangay and police clearances required? The appointment software also accepted her marital status as Married, but it’s keeping her maiden name as her last name. Is that something we should be worried about?
   
   
3. We might be expecting a baby that is 2 weeks old at the moment, and with all the requirements needed, we might not be able to submit our application until 3 or 5 weeks from now. What is our best course of action regarding this? Should we inform IRCC right away or only when the child is born? Will that delay our PR application?

1. Maiden name to married name is optional and NOT mandatory.

2. Only NBI is needed. Nothing to worry about maiden name shown as the husband's last name will also be shown once the certificate/clearance is printed.

3. Inform CIC only when the baby is born. Congratulations, btw

But the fact is I never received that letter i've been checking my trash folder, spam folder and all. i still got nothing. Does anyone have an idea about this? Pls. Thank you!

We have submitted upfront medical when we sent our application last sept. 2016 using the old kit. And last week they requested for remedical. Just wondering if After remedical, do we still have to wait months for dm/ppr or just weeks since our documents are almost complete. Thanks again
