Documents needed for Separation - Help

Hi, I am in a separation right now and I can not get divorced before the application due to some circumstances. And I'm afraid I'm not able to obtain a legal separation record or custody order also, it just takes time. What documents does it require if I'm not going to sponsor my spouse in the future? Do I need to obtain the passports, birth certificates, etc for my spouse?

No, you don't. I've responded elsewhere on this forum regarding similar issues. Please see those posts regarding submitting a notarized affidavit of separation describing the issue in detail and declaring that you understand that you won't be able to spondor your spouse in future.
